Texting on your Telnyx numbers

Hosted SMS adds texting to a number you already own, with plain-English reasons when a text fails and a one-step retry from another number. Texting from HighLevel's own Conversations runs on Telnyx in our pilot account (early access). Workflow and bulk texting are not proven yet.

Telnyx per-minute rates are well under LC Phone's. Phone Clover adds a software fee, so at light call volume LC Phone can cost less overall. Heavy callers save the most.

Stay on LC Phone if

  • you want the simplest built-in setup with nothing to connect;
  • you need calling in the HighLevel mobile app;
  • you need 911 from the phone you use in HighLevel (Phone Clover does not provide 911);
  • your call volume is light, so a software fee would outweigh the per-minute savings.

Questions

Do I need my own Telnyx account?

Yes. Phone Clover runs on your Telnyx account, so the numbers stay yours and you pay Telnyx directly at Telnyx's prices. You pay us only for the software. How to connect Telnyx

Does calling work on mobile?

Not in the HighLevel mobile app. Calling runs in the desktop browser inside HighLevel, and calls can forward to a mobile number when nobody answers.

Is it cheaper than LC Phone?

Per minute, yes: Telnyx calls cost less than half of LC Phone's rate. Your total also includes the Phone Clover subscription, so teams that call a lot save the most, and light users often pay a little more overall.

Can I keep my current number?

Yes. Hosted SMS adds business texting to an existing US landline or VoIP number without porting it. Mobile numbers are not supported for Hosted SMS.

Is Phone Clover on the HighLevel Marketplace?

Not yet. It is a private HighLevel app in early access. Request access and we send you the install link and set it up with you.

Does it support 911?

No. Phone Clover does not provide 911 or E911. Keep another phone line available for emergencies.

Can workflows and bulk texts send through Telnyx today?

Not yet. Texting from HighLevel Conversations runs on Telnyx in our pilot account (early access), but workflow and bulk texting are not proven yet, and 10DLC registration on the pilot is still to come, so we do not promise volume sending. Hosted SMS and the number tools work today.
